RUGER® Engraved 50th Anniversary 357 Mag Blackhawk to Benefit SASP

Ruger Firearms has generously donated a revolver to benefit the Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP). The revolver is being auctioned on Gunbroker.com now through April 25, 12:30PM eastern time. The Ruger® Blackhawk® single-action revolver in .357 Magnum was Sturm, Ruger’s first-ever centerfire revolver and is the foundation of the legendary Ruger single-action family. Available only in 2005, the 50th Anniversary New Model Blackhawk offers a unique opportunity to own a revolver with the look and feel of the original “Flat Top” design and all the benefits of 50 years of continuous refinements. Like the 1955 Ruger Blackhawk, the 50th Anniversary New Model Blackhawk is chambered in .357 Magnum with a 4-5/8 inch barrel. It offers many original features including a blued, original Blackhawk-size “Flat Top” frame with a micro-adjustable rear sight, and a smaller pre-1962 “XR-3” grip frame with checkered “hard rubber” grips bearing original-style black Ruger medallions. This 50th Anniversary New Model Blackhawk has a serial number of 520-02060 and was roll marked March 16, 2005. It was shipped to Automated Finishing for engraving work and features a Western-style scroll engraving on the top strap, cylinder, cylinder frame, and grip frame. This engraved model WAS NOT a regular production. The revolver has been stored in its original red plastic 50th Anniversary Blackhawk case along with an anniversary booklet, original instruction manual, marketing materials, case lock and keys. Please note that the winning bidder of this auction is responsible for paying the Federal Excise Tax. Ruger Donates Rare Blackhawk Revolver to Benefit SASP

Ruger Firearms has generously donated a rare and collectible Blackhawk .32 H&R Magnum – 32/20 Winchester convertible revolver. The serial number, 610-04726, tells us this revolver was test fired on April 18, 1989. The revolver is being auctioned on Gunbroker.com now through February 14, 12:30PM eastern time Approximately 5,200 of these Blackhawk revolvers were built for Buckeye Sports Supply and marketed exclusively by them in the late 1980’s. The revolver features a blued finish; 6-1/2” barrel; and wood grip panels with a silver-colored Ruger eagle medallion. Other features include a .32 H&R Magnum cylinder; a .32-20 Winchester cylinder; an adjustable rear sight and ramp front sight. Etched on the top strap of the gun is the Buckeye Sports Supply trademark. The revolver will be shipped in its original box along with all of its original paperwork and instruction manual.
