The anniversary rifle was listed in the 1985 catalog and the suggested retail price was $495.00. The 25th Anniversary Model 44 Carbine shows the compact design and classic lines which contributed to the great success of this model. These Limited Edition rifles are specially rollmarked “1961 – 1985 ~ 25th ANNIVERSARY” on the barrel, and they have a specially designed nickel silver medallion set into the walnut stock. Features of this rifle include an American walnut stock with a barrel band at the front of the forend. a folding-leaf rear sight with a reversible U/square notch plate adjustable for elevation and a gold bead front sight. The frame is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. It also features a curved, metal butt plate and tubular magazine that holds four cartridges. The 25th Anniversary .44 Carbine will be shipped in a special Anniversary box along with an original manual, purchaser record card, and a “Firearms Safety Depends on You” booklet. Ruger Firearms has generously donated an early model 10/22® Carbine rifle to benefit the Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP). The rifle is being auctioned on Gunbroker.com now through March 28, 12:30PM eastern time. This week’s auction item is an early model 10/22® Carbine rifle. The serial number is 111-44026. The rifle was manufactured May 3, 1972. The 10/22® Carbine rifle first appeared in the 1965 Ruger® firearms price sheets. This rifle had originally been sold to a distributor and returned to the factory. There are no notes as to why it was returned. This 10/22® Carbine Rifle has an uncheckered American walnut stock with aluminum buttplate. “MODEL 10/22 CARBINE – .22 L.R. CALIBER” is stamped on the left side of the receiver along with the Ruger eagle logo. The Sturm, Ruger address is stamped on the top of the barrel, and there is no manual warning on this rifle. Other features include: a blued 18-1/2 inch barrel; folding-leaf rear sight (adjustable for elevation); and gold bead front sight. Lyman was the original sights supplier and marked the rear sight blade with a triangular pointer below the curved sighting notch. The frame is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Also included in this auction are an appropriate instruction manual and 10-round rotary magazine. It will be shipped in the 44 Carbine rifle box it had been stored in. The stainless P95 Manual Safety model pistol was first introduced as “NEW” in the 2001 Ruger® Firearms Catalog. The serial number of this pistol is 314-42695 and the testfire date is February 2, 2001. The pistol has never been fired beyond normal testing during manufacture. The pistol’s slide is made of Terhune Anticorro stainless steel and features nearly indestructible resin grip panels and a custom compounded polymer frame. This manual safety model pistol incorporates a manual ambidextrous lever that, when engaged, prevents firing unless the lever is in the “fire” position. The KP95 pistol will be shipped in a gray plastic pistol case along with one 10-shot magazine and appropriate instruction manual.
