SSSF Congratulates Scholarship and Gun Winners During SCTP and SASP National Championships

Several youth shooters returned home from the 2016 SCTP and SASP National Championships last month with not only great new memories and friendships, but with new guns and scholarship money as well. SSSF partners, such as Blaser, Browning and Beretta hosted drawings and awarded scholarship money to participants as a way to support the organization, event and participants. Winners: Raffle Browning 725 – John Stoner / MO Blaser F16 Drawing: Blaser F16 – Mike Stubblefield / FL Blaser F16 – Sam Reed / IN Blaser F16 - Jack Townsend / IL Beretta A400 Excel – Baylor Garland / GA (Skeet Doubles Champion) Browning Scholarship for $6,200 – Sean Laurent / MO The 2016 nationals were held July 9-16 at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, Ohio. The event drew 2,369 competitors from 34 states to participate in trap, skeet and sporting clays through SCTP, and action rifle and action pistol events through SASP.
