NRA/USAS/CMP Level 1 Shotgun Coach Course to be Held in Hawaii in December

ThosclayTarget-logoe interested in learning the basics of coaching beginning to intermediate shooters are invited to attend the NRA/USAS/CMP Level 1 Shotgun Coach Course, which will be held Dec. 3-4, 2015 at the County Trap and Skeet Range on the big Island of Hawaii. The coach school provides two days of shotgun-specific lessons and practical coaching exercises and will run from 8am – 5pm each day.  There will be an SCTP informational meeting being held on Wednesday, Dec. 2nd at 6 pm at the County building in Hilo for those wanting more information about starting a youth team. The course schedule includes instruction on safety, rules, mental training, shooting basics, building quality programs, conducting tournaments and other fundamentals of coaching.
