NBC26 news station in Northeast Wisconsin recently aired a piece on the Burlington High School Demons SCTP Skeet Invitational tournament held at the Brown County Sportsman’s Club near Green Bay, Wis. The news piece featured comments from several student athletes, including Courtney Uhlenhake, Boone Bubner, Tyler Regner Kaitlyn Buchholtz and Mickenzie Williams, who spoke of dedication, concentration, determination and scholarship money. “Yeah, for moms and dads, that college scholarship thing is real,” Chet Tuinstra, SCTP director of development, Eastern US, said. “Colleges all across the country have shooting teams and are looking for athletes with good grades and a good work ethic to come and be part of their teams.” Ninety seven youth athletes, comprising nine teams from around the state, came together for this SCTP shooting event.
