In 2016 the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation launched a campaign entitled, “VISION 20/20” with the goal to grow national youth participation in the Scholastic Clay Target Program and Scholastic Action Shooting Program to over 20,000 student-athletes annually by the year 2020.

With that goal easily being met and surpassed, the SSSF relaunched the campaign as Reload For 2021. The fundraiser would go on to be the foundation’s most successful to date and is back to energize youth shooting sports for 2022!

In partnership with industry partners, civic organizations, member teams and DONORS like you the SSSF will provide the opportunity and funding for more students to join existing shooting teams and create new teams where none exist today.

Tax-deductible contributions to the Reload For 2022 campaign benefits local shooting teams by providing immediate cash needs for next season and future support via MidwayUSA Foundation team endowment account growth! Contributions to your favorite SCTP or SASP team must be made before the end of the year.

Components of the campaign
Strategy benefits youth shooting sports in 3 ways:
  1. Helps cash needs for teams now
  2. Provides cash needs for teams into the future through MidwayUSA Foundation team endowment accounts
  3. Provides financial support for the SSSF and its programs to help start new teams
50% of every donation goes back to the team in the form of a cash grant

-Utilizes SSSF’s strong partnership with the MidwayUSA Foundation. The MUSAF has a Team Endowment program where youth shooting teams can create and grow an endowment account to benefit the team in perpetuity. The campaign leverages match and bonus funding for these team endowment accounts.

-The SSSF provides high ratio match funding (variable, based on annual program). 2021’s campaign provided up to 125% of the donation amount in
match funding for the first $165K raised in the campaign.

-MUSAF provides match funding (variable, based on current
