The Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) would like to announce its newest supporter and sponsor, FN America. “FN has been a dedicated supporter of youth firearms education and shooting sports for several years,” Jarrod McDevitt, channel marketing manager for FN America, said. “We’re proud to continue that commitment with our product donation of our award-winning SLP shotguns and P-12 pump shotguns to the Scholastic Clay Target Program, part of the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation’s youth education program.” Known for the first massed-produced Browning designated Auto-5 semi-automatic shotguns back in 1902, FN has accomplished many things. FN released a competitive SLP semi-automatic shotgun in 2008 and later the P-12 as well as the FN SC1 over/under shotgun. These guns will get a good look from our young clay target enthusiasts! “FN’s support of the SCTP only strengthens our commitment to youth development through the shooting sports,” Tom Wondrash, SCTP’s national director, said. “We are always looking for ways to help our teams, coaches and athletes across the country. This will certainly help us reach our goal of giving out over $60,000 in college scholarships to our graduating seniors this year. We are very happy to have FN America on board and thankful for their support!”
